Galaxy S11 might have a boring design, but it’s getting a hot display feature

Galaxy S11 might have a boring design, but it’s getting a hot display feature Samsung built its mobile success on copying the iPhone in the early years, and whatever Apple does still influences Samsung’s decisions. But if there’s one iPhone trick that Samsung couldn’t replicate successfully so far, that’s recycling last year’s phone design. Apple used to launch a new iPhone design every couple of years, but that trend stopped with the iPhone 6, a design that Apple kept in place for three more years, for the iPhone 6s, 7, and 8 series. The iPhone X design was then used for all 2018 and 2019 devices, and the company is expected to drop a new iPhone design next year.

Samsung Galaxy S 11 Specifications include 120 Hz refresh rate curved SAMOLED display , 108MP Quad camera and 8 k video recording. All above info is based on Galaxy S 11 leaks and rumors. Galaxy S 11 processor will be the Snapdragon 865 or Exynos 990 based on region.

The leaks for the Galaxy S20 keep on coming, and the latest could be good news if you're a shutterbug. XDA-Developersclaims to have leaked details of the S20+ variant's camera app, including some of its hardware capabilities, along with hands-on looks and a picture showing a toggle for its 120Hz display. In line with earlier rumors, at least some versions of the S20 will support 8K video recording -- only at 30 frames per second (no 24FPS or 60FPS options here), but enough for many people. The main camera on the S20+ would be a 12-megapixel Sony-made sensor, although it would need a much higher-resolution sensor like the rumored 64MP shooter to make 8K video an option.

More evidence that the Galaxy S11 display will be the first of its kind for Samsung

More evidence that the Galaxy S11 display will be the first of its kind for Samsung We already noted earlier this month that, come next year, the Galaxy S11 is expected to deliver a fantastic display experience that's not only better than that of its predecessor, but also unlike anything ever seen up to this point on a Samsung phone. And now, thanks to a new tip from prolific leaker Ice Universe, it's starting to look even more certain that Samsung will favor a high refresh rate screen of 120Hz for phones in the Galaxy S11 lineup.© Provided by Penske Media Corporation samsung This is not to say that the Galaxy S11 would be the only 2020 smartphone to feature a high refresh rate display, which is also rumored to be coming to the iPhone 12.

You might get to shoot 4K, stabilized 60FPS video as well. There's no sign of the 108-megapixel camera on this model, although that's believed to be reserved for the S20 Ultra. A look at the hardware indicates it's the first S flagship without a headphone jack, and that it apparently uses an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

Some of the biggest additions might reside in the software. The leak appears to show "Single Take," a mode that asks you to pan the phone around while it automatically captures and recommends photos and videos. A "Smart Selfie Angle" feature, meanwhile, would automatically invoke a wide-angle mode if it tells you're trying to cram multiple people into the shot. A rumored Director's View mode to record multiple simultaneous videos appears to be a no-show at present, but there would be a "Pro Video" mode that translates the existing pro photo modes to moving pictures.

The Galaxy S 20+ will use a 120 Hz display , as leaker Ice Universe revealed earlier today, and which Weinbach has also independently confirmed from an examination of the S 20+ 's software. However, it will have a serious and seemingly arbitrary limitation: it will only support this higher refresh rate when

Samsung is expected to premiere the Galaxy S20 family at its Unpacked event on February 11th. Assuming it does, you'll likely hear a lot about these camera additions then. It's just a matter of whether the company can stay competitive with rivals that stepped up their game in 2019.
