Samsung's Galaxy S20 buyback scheme promises half your money back Samsung has launched a buyback program for the Galaxy S20 that would make it quite a steal -- provided you take care of it. Here's how it works: If you buy any of the Galaxy S20 phones on Samsung's store, you can return it any time within 24 months. Samsung's Galaxy S 20 phones are available now. Here's what ' s different from last year's Galaxy S 10 . From left to right: the Galaxy S 20 Plus , the Galaxy S 20 Ultra and the Galaxy S 20 . Angela/CNET.

What ’ s interesting here is the RAM capacity that Samsung has beefed up to 12GB across the board, even for the base model. You can also pick the two higher-end models—the S 20 Plus and Ultra —with 512GB of storage with the same expandability option. As for the boring stuff, all three will

Since the company first announced the devices in February at Samsung Unpacked (where it also announced the novel Galaxy Z Flip foldable phone), CNET has tested the S20 Ultra's incredibly impressive camera zoom and conducted drop tests (TL;DR: the camera survives).

The phones share high-end hardware and have new features that signal the direction of where current phones are heading -- namely 5G connectivity (which all three phones have) and screens with a higher, 120Hz refresh rate. But they also have key differences among each other too. The 6.2-inch Galaxy S20 is the smallest of the bunch, followed by the S20 Plus and the S20 Ultra, which has a 6.9-inch display. In addition, the Galaxy S20 and S20 Plus both have a wide-angle, telephoto and ultrawide cameras, but the S20 Plus and the S20 Ultra have one extra camera. This fourth one is a time-of-flight camera that measures depth for AR applications. Because the phones belong to Samsung's marquee line, they're expensive. The S20, S20 Plus and S20 Ultra start at $999, $1,199 and $1,399, respectively. (They're £799, £999, £1,199 in the UK and AU$1,349, AU$1,499 and AU$1,999 in Australia.)

SamMobilereports that Samsung has pulled its latest update days after reports of glitches. While the company hasn’t outlined just what prompted the decision, users have reported green screen tinting when the display is set to use its signature high refresh rate, not to mention slower high-speed charging. We’ve asked Samsung if it can comment on the move. There are reportedly already plans to fix the tinting issue, but that and other flaws (most notably slow camera autofocus) have marred the Ultra’s debut.

Samsung has decided to ditch the steeply-sloped Infinity display glass for this generation, opting for a flatter aesthetic like what ' s commonly seen on Google' s Pixel line.

Samsung’ s new Galaxy S 20 range has landed. With the Galaxy S 20 Ultra recently topping the benchmarks for the best display on the market, the opportunity to combine its Qualcomm claims 20% faster graphics rendering than the Snapdragon 855 in the Galaxy S 10 and 35% more power efficiency.

As well as 5G and the higher refresh rates, the Galaxy S20 devices can hold more expandable storage compared to last year's Galaxy S10 line, they shoot 8K video (rather than just 4K) and they run Samsung's second generation of its One UI out of the box.
