Regions, departments, communities of communes ... The vast majority of communities in France have developed local aid to help you finance your energy saving work. A new tool allows you to identify them in a few clicks.

Many French people are ready to invest in the energy renovation of their homes. According to a recent survey by CSA Research for Cofidis, one in four respondents plans to carry out energy renovation or thermal insulation work. Problem: many brakes still limit acting out. The main obstacle is obviously financial, this work being particularly expensive. There is, however, a plethora of aid making it possible to reduce the rest payable by households: national public subsidies, such as the Energy transition tax credit (Cite), or the new aid MaPrimeRénov and the other subsidies from the 'National Housing Agency (Anah) ... Individuals can also request aid related to energy saving certificates from private actors in the energy sector. But the complexity and poor knowledge of these devices tend to discourage the French.

For nearly 160 years, St. George has been known as Utah's 'Dixie.' The name is all over the city. Is it time to change? The word "Dixie" is everywhere in St. George, Utah. The controversy over its Confederate ties is back in the public eye — but it's not a new debate."Dixie" is plastered on hills, shops, businesses, signs, the local university, billboards and more across the city. The word has been subject to much controversy in St. George over the years — and now the debate is back.

Furthermore, many do not know that these national programs can be combined with local aid, paid by the community. Communes, communities of communes, departments, regions ... The vast majority of communities in France have developed financial support systems for energy renovation. These boosters can take several forms: a reduction in local taxes , a lump sum premium paid in addition to Anah grants, a zero-rate loan, or even a reduction in property tax for lessors. Their amounts and conditions of access are specific to each community.

New aid inventory tool

And, good news: it is now easy to know which financial aid you are entitled to, in your region, your department or your municipality! The National Agency for Information on Housing (Anil) has just put online a new tool for identifying all of these programs. Until now, only the Adil (the departmental branches of the Anil) kept a count of these devices. However, the data were rarely exhaustive and sometimes even more up to date. Capital had also experienced this in the past : to learn about existing systems, individuals had to be patient and do their research alone… Now, Adil and their partners keep a comprehensive account aid available, both for energy renovation and for adapting housing to disability or loss of autonomy.

At last, a climate policy platform that can unite the left

At last, a climate policy platform that can unite the left The factions of the Democratic coalition have come into alignment on climate change. After the ignominious failure of the Democratic climate change bill in President Barack Obama’s first term — the Waxman-Markey cap-and-trade bill that narrowly passed the House but never came to a vote in the Senate — what little unity there was on climate change within the Democratic coalition fractured. Everyone went their own way, furious at everyone else.
