  Ganges River flows with history and prophecy for India ALONG THE GANGES, India (AP) — More than 2,000 years ago, a powerful king built a fort on the banks of India’s holiest river, on the fringes of what is now a vast industrial city. Today, little of the ancient construction remains, except for mounds of rubble that tannery workers pick through for bricks to build shanties atop what was once the fortress of the great King Yayati. And Kanpur, where Yayati built his fort, is a city known for its leather tanneries and the relentless pollution they pump into the Ganges River.

T - Mobile is launching a pilot to deliver in- home internet service using its wireless LTE network — starting with rural and underserved areas first. The carrier hopes to expand the service to cover more than half of all US households with 5G by 2024, if it gets approval to merge with Sprint.

T-Mobile has announced an expansion of its Home Internet pilot to 450 more areas, which it says covers 20 million households. The service uses T-Mobile's 4G LTE network, and was launched as an invite-only pilot in rural areas in March last year, with the carrier saying it's now opening the service to non-T-Mobile customers.

You can see a list of the new cities and towns online, but it's now live in certain areas of 27 states.
