Technology Samsung now lets you 'Buy and Try' Galaxy foldable phones for 100 days
Leaker spills new details about the foldable iPhone
A leaker says Apple is working on a second foldable iPhone prototype, but the clamshell device would not be launched anytime soon. The foldable iPhone would look like the Galaxy Z Flip phone, featuring a foldable OLED display from Samsung. The handset could get a September 2022 release date at the earliest, but there are no guarantees whatsoever. Samsung has been teasing foldable phones for years before it finally took the plunge last year. Samsung felt it was ready to launch the world’s first foldable handset, which turned out not to be the world’s first foldable. And the Galaxy Fold also turned out not to be a well-thought-out design.
If you're not quite sure whether a foldable phone is right for you, Samsung is offering a "Buy and Try" program for its 5G and phones , as a way to help customers see if the devices are a good fit. You now have 100 days to try out the phones and decide whether you want to keep them.
Samsung says this is the first time it's offering this kind of program for mobile devices. The previous return window was 15 days.
The Buy and Try program for the foldable phones is available on Samsung.com until April 1.
