  Oracle brings Autonomous Data Warehouse to the rest of us With the new release, Oracle is expanding the appeal of the autonomous data warehouse to add end-to-end self-service experiences geared for business users.Oracle's move is very much in line with some of its rivals, such as Microsoft with Azure Synapse Analytics, and SAP with Data Warehouse Cloud, that have also broadened their cloud data warehouses to end-to-end services. But it is starkly differentiated from others like AWS, Snowflake, and Google, that are taking more portfolio-oriented or best-of-breed partner strategies.

Successful companies know how to turn data into actionable business insights. Modern data analytics, thanks to advances in artificial intelligence, visualization and cloud technology, provides companies with even more tools to accelerate their digital transformations.

Its connectors can detect detailed data flow/transformation details from database scripts and stored procedures, ETL packages, BI models and reports.Executives from Octopai briefed ZDNet on Data Lineage XD and demoed facets of the platform. They explained that cross-system lineage maps the flow of data across systems, from initial ingest and extract, transform and load (ETL) through to reporting and analytics. It provides color-coded network diagrams that illustrate flows and dependencies, in the form of interactive visualizations.

Samsung's A Series, the perfect phones for pandemic times, get the spotlight at Unpacked .
The company's mainstream smartphone lineup has become popular with consumers around the globe.On Wednesday at 7 a.m. PT, Samsung is scheduled to hold its second virtual Unpacked event of 2021. Samsung called Wednesday's event "Galaxy Awesome Unpacked" and said it'll explain how it's "bringing Awesome to everyone." (Yes, capital "A" Awesome). Its first Unpacked, in mid-January, marked the introduction of Samsung's flagship phones for the year, the Galaxy S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra. All came with 5G, and the devices started at $800, which is $200 less than their predecessors.
