New Pixel 6 leak reveals an important design change

New Pixel 6 leak reveals an important design change The Pixel 5 was a disappointment in terms of specs and power, but 2021 might bring Pixel fans devices that would be a lot more exciting than last year’s “flagship.” For starters, rumors said last year that Google and Samsung are working on a custom processor that could power Pixel handsets and other gadgets. This would allow Google to free itself from Qualcomm and better control one of the most important smartphone components. Separately, Google is also supposedly working on a foldable Pixel, which would mark the company’s first attempt in this smartphone form factor.

Google posted an image of the unannounced Pixel Buds A - Series earbuds on the Android Twitter account — only to delete it a few minutes later. The company’ s latest buds are expected to sell for less than the regular 9 Pixel Buds . The tweet, which also mentioned the “quality sound and quick Bluetooth pairing” of Google’ s latest buds , has since been deleted . Google has a history of, well, just tweeting out future products, but this does seem to have been an error. Google I/O 2021 is scheduled to start in two weeks on May 18th.

Also, a reminder to users visiting links to the Issue Tracker: star the issue. My buds keep disconnecting and then reconnecting, or one earbud doesn't even connect. Firmware is updated, have disabled all the ear detection and other features and it didn't fix anything. It' s super frustrating that a pair of earbuds this pricey can't function normally.

Google has accidentally revealed its upcoming ear buds on Twitter. The Android account tweeted out a picture revealing the new Pixel Buds on Tuesday afternoon, before quickly deleting the tweet.

The slip follows Google last month appearing the leak the new Pixel Buds A by showing them off in a dark green color in an email to the Google Nest mailing list, 9to5Google reported in April.

Google didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
