Report: Chargers expected to move to Los Angeles in 2017

Report: Chargers expected to move to Los Angeles in 2017 The San Diego Chargers are set to exercise their relocation option and move to Los Angeles in 2017, ESPN reports. In January, when the NFL approved of the Rams’ move from St. Louis to L.A., the Chargers were given a deadline of Jan. 15, 2017 to make a decision on their own option. Chargers chairman Dean Spanos has yet to officially notify the league, and has said he will wait until after the season, but according to ESPN, the move is looking like a done deal, “barring a miracle.

Siemian has started 13 games this season and Lynch has started twice when injuries kept Siemian out of the lineup. As a first-round pick selected this year with the knowledge that it might be a while before he was ready to play, it would seem to be almost certain that Lynch will be back with the

Broncos QB Trevor Siemian , who has missed one game with a foot injury, is on track to return Sunday vs. the Titans, coach Gary Kubiak said. The Broncos are 7-3 in games started by quarterback Trevor Siemian this season. AP Photo/Jack Dempsey. Rookie Paxton Lynch was 12-of-24 for 104

Last weekend, Denver got past the Jacksonville Jaguars, 20-10, in spite of a poor showing from rookie quarterback Paxton Lynch, who went 12-of-24 for 104 yards.

Not surprisingly, the Broncos’ vaunted defense showed up huge in that game, with Bradley Roby picking off Blake Bortles and taking it 51 yards to the house for six (watch here).

But Tennessee presents quite a different challenge than that of Jacksonville, which is among the league’s worst teams. The Titans feature a powerful rushing attack and a red-hot young quarterback in Marcus Mariota. Chances are, as good as Denver’s defense is playing, it’s still going to take some offensive touchdowns to win this game.

That means Siemian needs to come back strong and play mistake-free football to help the Broncos remain in the AFC Playoff chase. Starting 10 games this year for the Broncos, he has a 7-3 record and has thrown 15 touchdowns compared to seven interceptions.

Denver is currently the No. 6 seed with an 8-4 record. There is little room for error with just four games remaining on the schedule.
