  FIFA delegation heading to Athens for pitch violence talks World football body FIFA on Tuesday informed Greek deputy minister of sport Yiorgos Vassiliadis that a delegation is heading to Athens in order to hold talks on the recent spell of violence at football grounds. FIFA Director of European Member Associations Bjorn Vassallo informed Vassiliadis in a letter that the delegation would be leaving later Tuesday "to hold talks with the respective stakeholders on the actions going forward.

ATHENS, Greece (AP) A FIFA representative says Greece could be expelled from international soccer competitions because of widespread violence . The Greek soccer federation says it will draft a declaration against violence by March 23, after which the government will review its position.

Herbert Huebel says a series of incidents, culminating with a gun-toting club owner running onto the field to protest a disallowed goal, are "to be very polite, unacceptable."

Huebel met with government and league officials in Athens on Wednesday following Sunday's incident in Thessaloniki at a league match between PAOK Thessaloniki and AEK Athens. The government has indefinitely suspended league play after PAOK owner Ivan Savvidis rushed onto the field when the referee disallowed the goal.

The Greek soccer federation says it will draft a declaration against violence by March 23, after which the government will review its position.

A lawmaker from Colorado accused of sexual misconduct could face an expulsion vote as early as Friday. Rep. Steve Lebsock, who represents a suburban Denver district, has been accused of sexually harassing a fellow legislator and four other women. He denies the allegations.House Majority Leader KC Becker introduced an expulsion resolution late Tuesday, saying an outside investigator had judged 11 harassment allegations against Lebsock to be credible.Becker called the claims "serious and egregious in nature.
