The Kansas Jayhawks had another massively disappointing 1-11 season on the gridiron. It's been so bad for so long in Lawrence that they're losing assistant coach Todd Bradford. But he's not heading to another school. Shockingly he accepted a position with... an oil company.

Can't make this stuff up.

Bradford had been at Kansas for just two seasons, but has been coaching college football as an assistant for 27 years. Once again, the KU football program can't catch a break. In Bradford's two years, the Jayhawks were a combined 3-21, which surely played a part in him accepting a position for more money in a completely different industry.

iPad users can now multitask using Google Assistant Following in Amazon Alexa's footsteps, Google has rolled out an official version of their ‘Assistant' for iPads. Last May, Google Assistant became available to iPhones, meaning iPad owners could use that version albeit in a limited way, however on Tuesday a larger screen edition rolled out onto the App Store, with support for both portrait and landscape mode.

The Kansas Jayhawks football program is a college football team that represents the University of Kansas in the Big 12 Conference in the National Collegiate Athletic Association.

that - an - assistant - coach - is - leaving - for - the - oil - business /ar-BBKtqO2?li=BBnb7Kz. Which is worse ? Kansas FB. Posted: Mar 20, 2018 7:02 PM. Not even close. KU football is literally one of the consistently worse programs in any sport.

An old friend of Bradford's offered him this position. He reportedly turned the company down twice before, but as they kept raising their offer, he thought is was too good a deal financially to turn them down again.

This puts Kansas in a tough spot now, because spring practice begins on March 31st. Bradford is definitely putting the Jayhawks in a tough position as they try to get out of the bottom of the Big 12 next season. He has stated that Kansas is one of the toughest rebuilds in the country. And he's right.

All told, it's hard to imagine him being the only one pondering jumping ship.
