Trae Young isn’t the only young stud declaring for the 2018 NBA Draft after just one season. Enter Mo Bamba, the 6-foot-11 big man from Texas. After one season, Bamba is going pro.

“After an incredibly rewarding year at The University of Texas, I will not be returning school as I will be entering the NBA Draft.”

In his one and only season with the Longhorns, the big man would average 12.9 points, 10.5 rebounds and 3.6 blocks per game. But there’s no guarantee as to how his game will translate to the NBA.

Of course, this can be said of many potential prospects. And for what it’s worth, Bamba is probably a top-five pick at the very least. Many teams don’t need a big man to score points. However, many are in need of a big man who can play defense. He does just that.
