  Jonathan Cheechoo officially retires from pro hockey Though he hasn’t played in the NHL since 2010, Jonathan Cheechoohas officially announced his retirement from professional hockey. The 37-year old winger had played the last four seasons in the KHL, though wasn’t part of a professional team for the 2017-18 season. The San Jose Sharks, Cheechoo’s most recognizable team, will honor him before their game on March 24th. Selected in the second round of the 1998 draft, Cheechoo was a dynamic offensive player in the OHL and quickly turned that goal scoring prowess into success in the NHL.

Martin left the Dolphins midseason in 2013 after accusing teammates of bullying. LOS ANGELES (AP) Prosecutors say former Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Jonathan Martin has pleaded not guilty to threatening former teammates who had harassed him in the NFL.

Los Angeles County prosecutors say Martin appeared in court Tuesday and pleaded not guilty to charges of making criminal threats and carrying a loaded firearm. The name of his attorney wasn't immediately known.

A menacing post from Martin's Instagram page last month showed a shotgun and referred by name to the prep school he attended in Los Angeles. It also mentioned the Instagram names of two former Dolphins teammates who harassed him, Richie Incognito and Mike Pouncey.

The post said suicide and revenge were the only options for a victim of bullying.

A 13-year-old student is facing a felony charge after Volusia County deputies say he threatened to shoot up River Springs Middle School in Orange City, Fla.&nbsp;The student, a seventh-grader, made the comments in a restroom Monday afternoon, sheriff's spokeswoman Laura Williams said. Several other students reported the comments to law enforcement.
