Sewage leak spills onto field during game at Dodger Stadium Spring training came to a repulsive end Tuesday night at Dodger Stadium. The exhibition finale between the Angels and Dodgers was cut short because of a foul-smelling leak that spilled sewage onto the field in the fifth inning. The game was called after a 32-minute delay with two outs in the bottom of the fifth, giving the Dodgers a 4-3 victory over their Los Angeles rivals. The water main leak left a brown mess pooling near the Dodgers' dugout in foul territory as the grounds crew spread a drying agent and worked to clean up.

In just his second game back with the Seattle Mariners after a five-plus year absence, future Hall of Fame outfielder Ichiro Suzuki is already showing us why he’s one of the greatest players in franchise history.

Playing left field behind starter James Paxton against the Cleveland Indians on Saturday, Ichiro absolutely robbed Jose Ramirez of a home run.

It’s a play we’ve seen Ichiro make many times throughout his near two decades in the Majors. But given that he’s 44 years old, it’s absolutely stunning.

We have to give credit where credit is due. Sure the Mariners are losing. But this play from one of the greatest to ever take to a baseball diamond was absolutely brilliant.

Did we mention that Ichiro is 44 freaking years old? It seems like the 10-time Gold Glove winner is still partying like its 2001. Whew.
