Only change for Garcia is status as Masters champion
Sergio Garcia is the Masters champion, and he says nothing has changed. That's not entirely true.He returns to Augusta National as a husband, having married Angela Akins last summer. He will have a slightly larger entourage with him, most notably a daughter born three weeks ago who will always remind him of the Masters, its beauty and his resiliency. They named her Azalea. And he has Tuesday night plans unlike any other as host of the Champions Dinner. But that's it.He'll swear by that."I feel very proud for being able to win a major, and to win the Masters on top of that," Garcia said.
Defending champion Sergio Garcia put five balls into the water on the 15th hole and carded a 13, the highest score on the hole in Masters history. The defending Masters champion shot 81, mostly due to his misfortune at the hole that was the site of his heroics a year ago, an eagle 3 on the final day

Sergio Garcia has very little chance of repeating as champion at the Masters this year, and he will almost certainly look back on one hole in the first round that totally ruined his chances.
In what will likely go down as the most surreal scene of the weekend, Garcia hit five consecutive balls into the water on the 15th hole. Four of them came from almost the exact same spot after he took his drop. The video below shows Sergio hitting his 10th shot on the par-5 and his fifth different ball of the hole:
With his 10th shot of the 15th hole, Sergio Garcia delivered his fifth consecutive ball into the water.
Phil Mickelson’s final Masters prep has become a bit of an adventure
Phil Mickelson is first after 54 holes at the Houston Open in strokes gained/putting. So how is he tied for 55th overall? What the media notes failed to mention, however, was that Mickelson starts Sunday at five under par, nine strokes back of leaders Ian Pouler and Beau Hossler and in a tie for 55th place.
On the par- 5 15th hole , Garcia proceeded to place five balls into the water . It was an absolutely brutal display of golf to watch . The defending champion finally managed to get one to stick on his 12th shot and walked away with a 13, which ties the highest score ever made on a single hole in a Masters

Garcia carded a 13 on the hole. He was just 2-over par going into it and came out of it 10-over. That was the closest thing to a real-life “Tin Cup” moment you will ever see.
Sergio enjoyed his time at the Masters so much last year that he. No one can ever take that green jacket away from him, but that Thursday meltdown on the 15th hole will always be remembered.
