New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr . reportedly drew trade interest from "several" NFL teams, but it's " highly unlikely " he will be moved before the 2018 season. Ralph Vacchiano of SNY reported the news Friday and named the San Francisco 49ers as the one potential realistic landing

From @gmfb: My understanding is that # Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr will not set foot on a field without a new contract extension agreed to — with the # Giants or any team. This comes a day after owner John Mara said no one is “untouchable” in trade talks.

Odell Beckham Jr. is likely staying put. A source told Ralph Vacchiano of SNY.TV that it’s “highly unlikely” the Giants deal the star wideout. The reporter acknowledged that the organization could pull the trigger if they were blown away by an offer, but trading him is “clearly not something they want to do.”

Vacchiano writes that Beckham wasn’t necessarily on the trade block to begin with, despite owner JohnMara refusing to commit to the receiver’s spot on next year’s roster. The reporter notes that the front office was “listening and they were willing to consider it if the price was right,” and they’d continue to field offers until they sign him to a new contract.

Focusing on a report indicating that it's highly unlikely the New York Giants trade star receiver Odell Beckham Jr . According to SNY’s Ralph Vacchiano, it’s highly unlikely the Giants trade Beckham Jr . “It’s hard to imagine they would ( trade him).

Previous reports indicated that the Giants were seeking a pair of first-rounders in a trade. They lost one potential suitor when the Rams acquired wideout Brandin Cooks, and the Patriots reportedly won’t pursue the receiver. Vacchiano hints that the 49ers could be a team to watch, as the organization could theoretically want a top wideout for Jimmy Garoppolo. Otherwise, the reporter notes that “it’s hard to think of any other team that makes sense.”

The 25-year-old was among the NFL’s top wideouts until an injury cut his 2017 season short. In 2016, OBJ had 101 catches for 1,367 yards and ten touchdowns en route to his third career Pro Bowl selection. However, he was limited to only four games last year, hauling in 25 receptions for 302 yards and three scores.

NFL teams no longer believe Giants will trade Odell Beckham .
Some NFL teams who have spoken to the Giants reportedly no longer believe the team intends to trade Odell Beckham Jr. With the L.A. Rams acquiring Brandin Cooks from New England and ending their pursuit of Beckham -- and the Giants’ asking price of two first-round picks reportedly deterring at least one GM in talks with the Giants to pass -- ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Wednesday afternoon on "NFL Live" that teams no longer think OBJ will be dealt.“When you talk to teams around the league that have been in touch with the Giants, they no longer believe that the Giants are going to be trading Odell Beckham Jr.
