Lamar Jackson’s stock reportedly climbing, expected to go in first round

Lamar Jackson’s stock reportedly climbing, expected to go in first round Lamar Jackson has been somewhat of a mystery as we inch closer to the NFL Draft, but apparently he has a good chance of being selected very early. Jordan Schultz of Yahoo Sports reported over the weekend that Jackson’s stock is rising and he could be picked as early as No. 15 overall, with the Arizona Cardinals in need of a quarterback of the future.Lots of talk and confusion around Lamar Jackson. My understanding however, in regards to his draft stock, is that it continues to trend upward. Hard to imagine him falling him out of the 1st round. He could pretty high as well — think about ARZ at 15 as a possibility.

There so much speculation being thrown around during NFL draft season that, sometimes, some bigger news slips through the cracks. For instance, we were informed which team will draft Baker Mayfield later this month, and it barely registered as news.

We here at For the Win didn't even notice the news when it broke March 28 during a segment Mayfield filmed with NFL Media. The source is undeniably credible, too…

OK, so anyone who is even remotely familiar with Mayfield, or had a chacne to read through his bio for like five minutes, could have pulled off what Lee Ann Cornell did here. But her psychic skills will be put to the ultimate test on draft night. If the Cardinals do take Mayfield, Cornell could become the next Mel Kiper Jr.

Report: Cardinals RB Johnson cleared for all activities

Report: Cardinals RB Johnson cleared for all activities Arizona Cardinals running back David Johnson was among team members who began offseason workouts on Tuesday after he had been cleared to participate in all activities, NFL Network's Omar Ruiz reported. Johnson, 26, has been fully cleared after a wrist injured limited him to one game in 2017.

The catch here is that Baker Mayfield was not told by his agent or an NFL executive that he will be going to the Arizona Cardinals . He wasn’t told by any of the current Cardinals (players and coaches), Carson Palmer, or any other former player or coach. The Cardinals front office didn’t tell him , either.

After she tells Mayfield to pick a card (any card), things start to spiral a bit. Super Bowls in his future? He ' ll get drafted by ?@OU_Football's @BakerMayfield sat The interview concluded with Mayfield pulling a card with the Cardinals ' logo on it, locking in the psychic 's pick for his NFL draft selection.

Arizona currently owns the 15th-overall pick in the draft, so it might have to make a move in order to land the Oklahoma product.
