After a dramatic week at Harbour Town, the PGA Tour rolls back to the Lone Star State for the Valero Texas Open at TPC San Antonio.

Much like last week, most of the top players are skipping this event, leaving Sergio Garcia as the only top-20 golfer in the world teeing it up.

4 — International winners of the Valero Texas Open since 1970 — Australians Adam Scott and Steven Bowditch and Scotland’s Martin That’s the longest active streak on the PGA TOUR. Adam Scott won the Valero Texas Open in 2010 when the Oaks course made its debut as the tournament venue.

San Antonio, Texas : Aussie Adam Scott snapped a two-year winless drought by rolling in six birdies en route to a 67 in the fourth round of the PGA Texas Open on Sunday. The 29-year-old Scott finished with a combined 11-under 133 in a 36-hole finale Sunday to beat Swede Fredrik Jacobson by a shot.

That lack of star power means there's a lot of value on the betting board, and here are the players to target for a potential victory:

Favorite to watch (odds 30-1 or shorter)

Adam Scott

It's been a while since Adam Scott played in this event, but the 37-year-old showed he's comfortable on the layout with a 23rd-place finish in 2011. While his putter continues to be an issue, the Australian is once again in peak form with his ball-striking. Scott ranks 12th in strokes gained: approach and 26th in strokes gained: off-the-tee, two very important statistics to focus on this week. Look for him to punish the course with his long game and make enough putts to walk away as champion.

Rory Sabbatini fires bogey-free 64 for first-round lead at RBC Heritage

Rory Sabbatini fires bogey-free 64 for first-round lead at RBC Heritage Here is a recap of the opening round of the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head Island, S.C. : LEADING: Rory on top of a leaderboard? Many golf fans are getting their wish, although it's a different Rory and a few days later than they may've wished.RELATED: LeaderboardRory Sabbatini, not Rory McIlroy, is in the lead after Round 1 at the RBC Heritage, thanks to a bogey-free 7-under 64 to start his week. Sabbatini leads by two over a quartet of players.

Anyway, I'm not sure if Brinson will keep his hot streak going in Week 3, but if you feel like checking out his picks , you can click here. The pick : Patriots 20-17 over Texans . Today would be a good day for the Redskins to re- open Kirk Cousins contract talks.

The 39-year-old won his third PGA TOUR title with an unprecedented performance. He summoned his best golf at the most important moment. Now he will take the FedExCup lead into the New Year. “I thought I had it in me, but I had never seen me do it,” Howell said.

Odds to win: 30-1

Second tier (odds longer than 30-1)

Brendan Steele

Steele's game certainly thrives at TPC San Antonio, as he won the event in 2011 and has contended for the title on more than half of his visits to the track. This season, the 35-year-old ranks fifth on tour in strokes gained: off-the-tee and 34th in strokes gained: approach, which is evidence that he's on his ball-striking game. Given Steele's history of success at the event and his current form, he's a strong play on this week's board.

Odds to win: 40-1

Top-5 odds: 7-1

Long shot (odds 50-1 or longer)

J.B. Holmes

Holmes is as long as anybody on tour, which helps offset an extremely streaky putter. The 35-year-old finished 13th in his last visit to this event in 2016, and is more than comfortable playing in the wind that usually materializes in South Central Texas. Even just a decent week with the putter should see Holmes in contention, and at 50-1, he's worth a wager.

Zach Johnson rolling, shares Texas Open lead with Ryan Moore

Zach Johnson rolling, shares Texas Open lead with Ryan Moore Zach Johnson was going nowhere in the Valero Texas Open when it all changed with one putt.He made an 8-foot par putt on the 13th hole of the opening round to stay at 2 under. He followed with a big drive, a hybrid into 12 feet and an eagle. Johnson was on his way, and he kept right on going Friday to a 7-under 65 and a share of the early 36-hole lead with Ryan Moore.RELATED: Leaderboard"You just never know. That's the beauty of this game," Johnson said. "I felt like I was hitting some solid shots and wasn't getting rewarded, and you've just got to stay in it. You've got to persevere, grind it out, fight for pars.

Diego Fagundez and Scott Caldwell talk about trying to get back on track, keep working hard, and get out of the hole they have dug themselves.

Bowyer snapped a 190-race losing streak dating to 2012 with a dominating victory at Martinsville Speedway. Monday's win continued the strong start to the Clint Bowyer's chase for an elusive win is over, as he picked up the victory Monday for the first time in 190 races. Jared C. Tilton/Getty Images.

Odds to win: 50-1

Top-5 odds: 10-1

Super long shot (odds 80-1 or longer)

Aaron Wise

Wise is off to a solid start in his first full season on the PGA Tour, making nine out of 14 cuts and posting a trio of top-20 finishes. The former Oregon standout is solid off the tee and should leave himself ample opportunities to attack pins at TPC San Antonio. One stat that will make Wise a popular pick this week is that he's 23rd on tour in birdie-or-better percentage.

Odds to win: 80-1

Top-5 odds: 25-1

Hit this bet, buy a car (odds 100-1 or longer)

Brandon Harkins

Harkins' form has dipped after a hot start to the 2017-18 season, but the 31-year-old's game sets up well for the track at TPC San Antonio. He ranks in the top 65 players on tour in both strokes gained: off-the-tee and strokes gained: approach, which are numbers that should lead to strong play this week. At 100-1 odds, he's definitely worth a couple bucks as a massive underdog.

Odds to win: 100-1

Landry rides hot start to first PGA Tour win at Texas Open

Landry rides hot start to first PGA Tour win at Texas Open It wasn’t his first time playing in the final group. But Andrew Landry’s view from the first tee at the Valero Texas Open on Sunday had to have been daunting. The Texan was joined by Zach Johnson, a player who had won the tournament twice and Trey Mullinax, who had just set the course record the day before.Instead of retreating, Landry roared. He birdied his first three holes to build a comfortable lead, then held on on the back nine — overcoming Mullinax, Johnson and his own nerves — to win the tournament championship for his first victory on the PGA Tour.
