About 60 protesters and a brass band interrupted about 30 ICE agents and local law enforcement as they ate lunch in a public picnic shelter at Jackson Park on April 20, according to several news reports. In Facebook Live videos, protesters can be heard shouting, "Stop deportations!" and "Our friends and neighbors are under attack. What do we do? Stand up, fight back!" as they surrounded the shelter.
The Tigers are awaiting NBA draft decisions from last season's starting backcourt of Marcquise Reed and Shelton Mitchell. Neither player hired an agent. They have until May 30 to withdraw from the draft.
