Tyler Lockett out for season with a broken leg
The Seattle Seahawks had a big gain vs. the Arizona Cardinals after a 28-yard throw from Russell Wilson to Tyler Lockett, which appeared to be a touchdown. Lockett, while somehow maintaining possession of the ball, had a Cardinals defensive back roll up on his leg, which snapped just below his knee.
Russell Wilson may play Saturday’s playoff game against Detroit without a knee brace , which should serve as a positive sign about his health. ESPN’s Ed Werder shared the news about Wilson on Friday and noted that Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll says Wilson ’s health is improving.
He played with a knee brace . As the playoffs approach, he may be finally shedding it. “I don’t have to keep wearing it, I’m contemplating what we’re going to do here,” Wilson told Plenty of quarterbacks choose to wear a knee brace , especially on the knee with which they step into their throws.

North Texas player barfs so much he distracts the quarterback
North Texas running back Jeffrey Wilson blew chunks all over the precious turf at the Heart of Dallas Bowl. The first barf was funny because the quarterback was so distracted by it he completely forgot he was playing football. Even though you can't see his face, you can sense the amazement like, "Dude, are you OK?" Wilson gives him the thumbs up, but then the ball goes whizzing by him.The second barf (there are two barfs!) was just impressive. As he switches sides, he casually hurls the vomit like it's part of the play design. Two touchdowns, two projectile vomits.— Ed Werder (@Edwerderespn)

Pete Carroll says QB now healthy as he's been since knee /ankle injuries. .@Edwerderespn if it improves anything about his game & his knee is as structural sound as it can ever be, lose the brace Russ .
Wilson has been banged up all season long. He first, and two weeks later he hurt his knee on . He was diagnosed with an MCL sprain but continued to play.
Somewhat amazingly, despite all his injuries, Wilson never missed any games and helped Seattle to a 10-5-1 record. Now he’s entering his fifth postseason in as many years since he was drafted by Seattle, and he’s hoping to reach his third Super Bowl and win his second ring.
