Watch: Russell Westbrook hilariously impersonates James Harden's step-back The step-back is a move James Harden uses to create enough space between him and the defender to get his shot off. Harden comes close to traveling, but he is rarely called for the violation. Take a look as Westbrook completely exaggerates the step-back while Harden stands and watches: Russell Westbrook impersonating James Harden got me DEAD @russwest44 @JHarden13 @usabasketball pic.twitter.com/FkI3u53EMo— Overtime (@overtime) July 27, 2018 Just for comparison, here are some of Harden's step-backs in game action: James Harden step backs are on another level.#Rockets pic.twitter.

In the midst of the suspensions looming for 13 North Carolina football players, one former basketball star decided to shoot his shot for the university again.

Brice Johnson will always be known for his superstar performances with the Tar Heels, but the dynamic forward hasn't found much success in the NBA. Although he's not near his level of stardom as his days in the NCAA ranks, Johnson proved his bloodline to UNC will last forever.

After seeing the player edition Air Jordans that were being sold by the team, Johnson made it known that he's interested in buying them in his size.

CatCon shirts hilariously shout out Warriors

CatCon shirts hilariously shout out Warriors Cat lovers of the world are uniting in Pasadena for CatCon, 2018. Naturally, such an event includes a gift shop, which includes shout outs to the Golden State Warriors.Speaking of. #StrengthInSlumbers#Rawriors#CatConpic.twitter.com/vTQVQjheRs— Adrian Garro (@adriangarro) August 5, 2018Admittedly, “Purrant” and “Purry” and puns on Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry are essentially gimmes. But “Strength in Slumbers” and “Golden State 'Rawriors'? Those had to take some work. There were plenty of shirts for the non-sport’s fans, as well.I can’t with these. #CatCon@brutal_kittenspic.twitter.

That's probably not the ideal way of responding to this situation brewing in Chapel Hill, but it's pretty hilarious. While many probably thought Johnson was poking fun at the situation, the 24-year-old made it very clear that his intentions are serious.

At least Johnson isn't afraid to let his voice be heard, as the former All-American just wants his very own pair of kicks.

Considering the immense contributions he made at North Carolina, it wouldn't surprise me if Johnson found these sneakers in his mailbox in the coming days.

Luke DeCock: UNC shoe mess another compliance black eye for a university that has had too many

Luke DeCock: UNC shoe mess another compliance black eye for a university that has had too many A difficult start to the football season just got tougher for North Carolina, and that's not even the Tar Heels' biggest problem. Monday's announcement that 13 players will be suspended for selling their team-issued Air Jordans - nine of them for four games, including quarterback Chazz Surratt and three defensive ends - will leave ShoeNC short-handed during the brutal opening stretch of a pivotal season, even if it certainly could have been worse if more starters were involved.
