Team meetings won't fix the Pistons troubles

Team meetings won't fix the Pistons troubles After yesterday’s embarrassing 37-point blowout in Indiana, Rod Beard reported that there was a team meeting to get on the same page. Here’s why that’s not going to fix this team.

Evan Fournier 's running jumper in the lane as the buzzer sounded gave the Orlando Magic a 109 - 107 win over the Detroit Pistons on Sunday.

GRIII available

After missing eight games with a left ankle sprain, Glenn Robinson III was available.

There was a fear the injury was more severe, but he was able to move freely soon after the injury occurred Dec. 10 at Philadelphia.

He didn’t appear against the Magic, and Casey said it would be tough to find immediate playing time.

“It depends on how well Bullock defends, how well (Langston Galloway) defends, how well Luke (Kennard) defends and gets it done,” Casey said. “If they can’t do it, we’ll find some minutes for him.”

Robinson III was signed to a two-year deal, $8.3-million deal in the offseason to challenge for a starting spot.

But he has struggled, and the Pistons have the right to decline his $4.3-million team option for next season.

With the team’s lack of financial flexibility, it’s safe to assume his presence on the roster next season isn’t assured.
