The Knicks have removed a photo of Kevin Durant from a season ticket promotion.

The Warriors star was shown guarding Knicks rookie forward Mitchell Robinson in the ad — which encouraged fans to renew their ticket packages in the subscriber portal of the team’s website.

The Knicks said in a statement to the New York Daily News the image was one of “several rotating photos on the website.”

Kevin Durant finally addresses his silence, as loudly as he can This season, the Warriors have morphed from robotic destructor of the NBA into Team Soap Opera. And the drama boiled over, hot and scalding on Wednesday night. The latest mini-drama had revolved around Kevin Durant and his recent uncharacteristic silence. The Silence of Durant finally ended after nine days, following the Warriors’ 141-109 demolition of the San Antonio Spurs. Durant lashed out at the media. “Why do you care?” he asked a reporter who queried why he hadn’t been talking. “I didn’t feel like talking the last couple of days.” Then he got to the apparent heart of the matter: his anger at a particular reporter with The Athletic.

The Knicks are hoping that landing Derrick Rose isn’t the biggest splash of their summer. Durant , who as recently as Wednesday was reported to be leaning toward re-signing with the Thunder, will meet with interested teams in Los Angeles when Remove or add writers to and from your list of favorites.

“Game action photos are used all the time for marketing purposes,” the statement read. “But given everything going on, we took precaution of taking the photo down.”

The Knicks will have two max salary spots in the offseason following their trade with the Mavericks late last month and they’re expected to pursue the 30-year-old star if he becomes a free agent.

Durant recently ripped the media for its coverage of his impeding free agency.

"I have nothing to do with the Knicks," Durant said at a press conference last weekend. “I'm trying to play basketball. Y'all come in here every day, ask me about free agency, ask my teammates, my coaches. You rile up the fans about it. Let us play basketball. That's all I'm saying.”

The Knicks are so terrible the only thing left to sell Kevin Durant on is the chance to save the franchise Kevin Durant caught flack for signing with the greatest regular-season team in NBA history. And if he’s looking for approval from those critics, Durant could do the exact opposite with the Knicks. Maybe that’s part of the appeal. The Knicks won’t finish with the worst record we’ve ever seen in the league (not unless they drop the rest of their games), but the losing has already reached historic proportions. Heading into Saturday’s game against the Raptors at the Garden, the Knicks had dropped 15 straight – one off the franchise record set during the 2014-15 campaign under Derek Fisher. They had already broke the team record for consecutive defeats at home with 15.

The Knicks have been one of the worst teams in the NBA this season and will enter their matchup Monday against the Cavaliers with a 10-45 record.

Kyrie Irving attacks media over questions about Kevin Durant conversation.
It’s no secret that impending free agents Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant have both been linked to the New York Knicks. Considered good friends, the idea would be for the two to build a superteam in the nation’s largest media market. Teammates during last weekend’s All-Star Game, Irving and Durant were seen in the tunnel in Charlotte discussing something. The attention of the media quickly turned to whether Irving told Durant that the Knicks have a spot for two max-contract players. Kyrie didn’t just tell Durant “two max slots,” right? Right??? pic.twitter.
