North Carolina cruises past Georgia Tech 77-54, but loses key freshman to injury When North Carolina gets going, it's hard to stop the Tar Heels. That was evident Tuesday night against Georgia Tech at the McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta, after the Tar Heels opened the second half on a 25-5 run to take a 27-point lead with about 13 minutes left in the game. That was all they needed, and the ninth-ranked Tar Heels (16-4, 6-1) beat the Yellow Jackets 77-54. Graduate senior wing Cam Johnson had a team-high 22 points on 8 of 10 shooting. He was 4 of 6 from 3. Freshman point guard Coby White had 19 points and eight assists, and the Tar Heels picked up their fourth consecutive win of the season.

USC football continues to take major hits in the recruiting world.

A week after one of their 2020 wide receiver commits decommitted, the Trojans lost a former wide receiver commit to another school.

Puka Nacua, a four-star recruit and the No. 1 recruit in Utah according to 247 Sports, announced on Sunday night that he was committing to the Washington Huskies.

Nacua committed to USC in June but still took visits elsewhere. He was considering BYU, Oregon, UCLA and Utah in addition to USC and Washington.

Nacua had 5,270 career receiving yards and 57 touchdowns in high school, according to his MaxPreps page. He had 103 catches for 2,336 yards and 26 touchdowns as a senior.

Tucker Carlson Loses Another Advertiser as Sponsor Boycott Lingers On Tucker Carlson has added another name to what has become a long list of companies that have publicly disassociated themselves from his primetime Fox News program. On Monday evening, San Francisco's Sun Basket Meals became the latest sponsor to say they would no longer advertise on the show. "We did not intend to be advertising on that show, and once we became aware of that, we requested that we be removed. Changes in media flights take one week and ours will be effective this Sunday," the company told liberal activist Jordan Uhl in a Twitter direct message. "We will not advertise on the show again in the future.

While this is a big pickup for the Huskies, what seems even more significant is the trend this continues for USC. In early January, Kliff Kingsbury left as offensive coordinator to become the Arizona Cardinals’ head coach. In mid-January, they lost running back Jordan Wilmore, who committed to Utah. Two weeks later, top recruit Bru McCoy transferred to Texas after briefly enrolling at USC. Last week, 2020 wide receiver Koy Moore decommitted from the program. And now it’s Nacua changing from USC to Washington.

Trojans fans were calling for Clay Helton’s firing months ago and Lynn Swann didn’t abide their wishes. They will continue to be upset after all of this.
