Browns now heavily favored to land Odell Beckham Jr. in trade

Browns now heavily favored to land Odell Beckham Jr. in trade Trade rumors involving New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. have been brewing big time this week. It would now appear that the Cleveland Browns are the front-running team to land OBJ if a trade were to go down. Bovada says the Browns went from +500 to +285 OVERNIGHT to be Odell Beckham's next team Odds: Giants -190 Browns +285 Steelers +700 49ers +1500 Cardinals +1500 Raiders +1500 Dolphins +1500 Jets +1500 Bears +1800 — Tyler Conway (@jtylerconway) March 7, 2019 Originally, the Giants said they did not plan to deal Beckham in a trade. But now, this whole idea is hard to ignore. Even Beckham himself has been a little cryptic about a possible trade.

In the span of a year, the Browns have gone from a longtime laughingstock to the most stacked team in the AFC. We can't blame Browns fans for being excited, but one fan was so pumped that he had a neighbor concerned.

Shaker Heights (Ohio) Police received a 911 call on Tuesday from a neighbor, Corita Jackson, who saw 17-year-old Robert Stewart running frantically through the street and screaming.

Jackson, thinking something was wrong, put her children back in the car and called the police. As it turned out, Stewart was just celebrating news of the Browns' trade with the Giants for Odell Beckham Jr.

"We got OBJ. I was so excited, I couldn't help myself. I was just jumping around my house, and my little brother told me to stop but I couldn't because I was so excited … So, I had to come rejoice outside," Stewart said.

Officers eventually responded to see Stewart still celebrating, and he told the officers about the trade. He said "everything was all cool" after that.

The officers then went to Jackson's home to explain why Stewart was so excited. The department shared a post about the call to its Facebook page.

This wasn't the only video of Browns fans celebrating the trade either. Beckham took notice to a clip of one fan jubilantly screaming in his living room.

Giants Tried Trading Odell Beckham Jr. to Bills Before Browns Deal Went Down.
It would appear as though Antonio Brown wasn't the only wide receiver who was nearly dealt to Buffalo recently. Per Peter King of Football Morning in America, Giants general manager Dave Gettleman called Bills GM Brandon Beane to inquire about foisting OBJ onto Buffalo after he learned of the Bills' failed pursuit of AB. But according to King, "Beane didn't bite." Before the Browns called the Giants about an OBJ trade, the Giants called the Bills about an OBJ trade https://t.co/sDnEmWq6F4 — ProFootballTalk (@ProFootballTalk) March 18, 2019 We have two reactions: 1. "We didn't sign Odell to trade him." Gettleman is still a liar. 2.
