A cycling race in Belgium was delayed because a woman almost caught the male riders The Omloop Het Nieuwsblad was held up for 10 minutes to separate the fields, costing Nicole Hanselmann her lead. “May[be] the other women and me were too fast or the men too slow,” she cracked.

Both were reportedly going to continue competing in the race.

Three-time world champion Peter Sagan of Slovakia avoided the collision in conditions already hazardous because of rain, AFP reported.
