Many members of the team less than thrilled about the prospect of a seemingly pointless journey to Syracuse. Well, those skeptical individuals are likely infuriated right now, as the team's flight to the workout has been delayed.

According to the New York Post's Mike Puma, there are a lot of disgruntled players aboard the Mets' plane, as they have been delayed 3.5 hours on their way to Syracuse. They won't land until close to midnight.

The Mets reason for heading to Syracuse was for an open workout as the franchise debuts its new minor league affiliate the Syracuse Mets. Clearly, the major league club was less than stoked about the journey, and the delays have only fueled their irritation.
