Can Kyle Busch be stopped?

Not only is Busch the lone Cup Series driver to finish inside the top 10 every race this season, but he's also fresh off a comeback win last weekend at Bristol in which he wrecked on the race's first lap. Busch already has three wins this season and swept both races last year at Richmond Raceway, site of Saturday night's race. His win at Phoenix's ISM Raceway, on a similar track as Richmond, bodes well for him in the first Saturday race of the season.

Richmond is the ninth race of the year and marks the end of the first quarter of the 36-race season. It's the second consecutive week of short track racing; Richmond's 0.75-mile D-shaped circuit will help cars that lack intermediate-track speed capitalize on the Monster Energy Series' front-loaded schedule of short tracks.

RICHMOND , VA - APRIL 21: Fans walk pit road before the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond Raceway on Bristol Motor Speedway gave the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series teams their first chance to see how they’d handle short track racing this season

Kyle Busch took the Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond after a Truex Jr. pit stop took four seconds too long and he was bumped, forcing him into pit row for a tune-up once again. Miss any of the action? No problem. We've got you covered with highlights and analysis from our live blog below.

If any team is capable of stopping the Busch's season-opening tear, it's Team Penske. All three Penske drivers reside in the top six of Cup Series points. Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano each have a win this season, and Ryan Blaney has led 353 laps, third-most among drivers, trailing only Keselowski and Busch.

Four of the top-10 qualifies — Chase Elliott, Erik Jones, Daniel Suarez and Jimmie Johnson — will all start the race from the back after failing pre-race inspections.

Bowyer's late Richmond rally falls agonizingly short: 'I thought this was our night'.
Clint Bowyer stalked race leader Martin Truex Jr. over the final 50 laps Saturday night at Richmond Raceway, saving his tires and using his long-run speed to eventually track down and catch Truex Jr.’s No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota. Catching him, yes. Passing him was a different matter. Bowyer pulled his No. 14 Stewart-Haas Racing  Ford right alongside Truex Jr. several times in the waning laps, but couldn’t quite make the race-winning pass in what was a thrilling conclusion to the Toyota Owners 400.
