Stars push Predators to edge of elimination with 5-3 win Alexander Radulov scored two goals in the second period and the Dallas Stars beat the Nashville Predators 5-3 to push the Western Conference's No. 2 seed to the brink of elimination. The Stars came into the postseason as the West's first wild card and are up 3-2 in the best-of-seven series over the two-time defending Central Division champs. Game 6 is Monday night in Dallas.

Gavin DeGraw sang the national anthem and found himself face down on the ice.

DeGraw face planted shortly after finishing his rendition of the national anthem prior to the start of Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs between the Predators and the Dallas Stars Saturday at Bridgestone Arena.

The Stars took a 3-2 series lead after winning 5-3.

Right after finishing the anthem, DeGraw took a step back and instead of his right foot stepping on the carpet, which is rolled out specifically for anthem singers so they don't slip, his foot was on the ice.

What ensued was DeGraw slipping, falling and wiping out on the ice.

It was an embarrassing moment for DeGraw, who had pop hits 'Chariot', 'I Don't Want to Be' and 'In Love With a Girl' in the 2000s. And his performance before his slip was mistake-free.

DeGraw went on Facebook and said "Someone said, 'Break a leg.' I listened," poking fun at himself.
