For a majority of people who saw Tiger Woods sink the putt to win his 15th major and fifth green jacket, emotions poured out in celebration. Craig Stadler is not majority of people, though.
"The issue is not winning the 15th major, it's what he's done," Gary Player said. "He's given people, there are probably six billion people that have problems, they are down. He's given people encouragement.
"He said to me at the Masters dinner two years ago, he said, 'I'm done. I'm all locked up with my back, I'm done. I'm finished.' Now to come back and win a major, I never thought he would win a tournament, never mind a major. It's been the most wonderful encouraging thing."
