Report: Daniel Jones may have still been available at 30th pick of draft

Report: Daniel Jones may have still been available at 30th pick of draft The New York Giants are under the impression that they would have missed out on Duke quarterback Daniel Jones if they waited until the middle of the first round to draft him, but all signs continue to point to that not being the case. On his podcast this week, ESPN’s Adam Schefter said he was led to believe Jones still would have been available when the Giants made their second pick of the first round at No. 17. Not only that, he thinks Jones still would have been around at No. 30, which is when New York traded up to get a third pick in the first round. Adam Schefter says on his podcast he believes Daniel Jones still might have been on the board at No.

pick because, barring a surprise, Williamson, Ja Morant and RJ Barrett, in that order, will be the first three So the real question is what will the Lakers do at No. 4. Select a player? Or package the pick for a Obviously, the Grizzlies are rebuilding, and Mike Conley has made it clear, in the nicest way

Rodgers disputes reported feud with McCarthy. Ja Morant scores 36 points and propels Murray State to their second consecutive OVC championship and a trip to the NCAA tournament. And is time to start talking about him as the No . 2 pick in this draft?

The Memphis Grizzlies have the No. 2 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. And all signs point to them using that pick on Murray State guard, Ja Morant.

Jonathan Givnoy of ESPN reported the news on Wednesday, noting that the front office is “locked in” on Morant.

There are really no surprises here.

NBA announces 2019 draft lottery representatives

NBA announces 2019 draft lottery representatives With the NBA’s 2019 draft lottery set to take place next Tuesday night, the league has now officially confirmed who will represent each team on stage and in the lottery room on May 14. While there are only 14 picks in the lottery — including four determined by the drawings of ping pong balls — there will be 15 team representatives in attendance due to various trades. The full breakdown of each club’s odds in this year’s lottery can be found right here.

The team, however, ended up with the third pick , behind the Grizzlies and Pelicans. They last made the playoffs in 2012-13. New York will likely end up selecting either Murray State guard Ja Morant or Williamson's Duke teammate, RJ Barrett, with the No. 3 pick .

Memphis Grizzlies projected draft pick : No. 6. Ja Morant 's latest mock draft spot: No. 3. The Phoenix Suns will look attractive to Ja Morant given their hole His offensive upside will lead to top-five interest in Morant , who's on pace to become the only NCAA player in over 25 years to average at least 20

Duke forward Zion Williamson is the clear No. 1. But after him, Morant has been pegged as likely the No. 2 pick for quite some time. Murray State lasted only two games in the NCAA Tournament, but Morant made quite an impression. In the Racers win over Marquette, he posted only the eighth triple-double in tournament history.

In his final year at Murray State, Morant averaged 24.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, and a Division I leading 10 assists a game. He shot 49.9% from the field, 36.3% on threes, and 81.3% on free throws.
