Steph Curry's Dislocated Finger is Reportedly a 'More Significant Problem' Ahead of Game 6

Steph Curry's Dislocated Finger is Reportedly a 'More Significant Problem' Ahead of Game 6 The Warriors got an important win in Game 5 to take the series lead at 3-2. More impressively, they were able to do so after losing Kevin Durant with 4:29 to go in the fourth quarter. With Durant out, Steph Curry took over as he scored 14 points on 5-of-6 shooting late in the game. However, before that heroic performance, Curry had struggled throughout the game and series. Some of it is inexcusable, but his poor shooting could be linked to his injured finger that he dislocated in Game 2. Sources have told Sam Amick of The Athletic that Curry's finger is a "more significant problem than he’ll let on.

Even though Curry is now surrounded by elite talent that includes Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, Kerr said Thursday that Curry is "I think when people think of the Warriors, they think of Steph . We've got four All-Stars and we've got tremendous talent, great players, amazing PR

Chasing Steph Curry around the court in an NBA game is extremely exhausting - just ask every Portland Trail Blazers defender who attempted to guard him during the Golden State Warriors' sweep.

So doing a comedic imitation of Curry on the offensive end requires a whole bunch of moves to get free for a shot.

That's where @Maxisnicee comes in. In the same vein as Brandon "@BdotAdot5" Armstrong, he's imitating NBA stars and getting recognition for it. That includes a recent Curry video that caught Steve Kerr's eye (and the rest of social media's eyes too).

Here's the side-splitting clip and Kerr's reaction:

Steph Curry had very simple message for brother Seth after Blazers won Stephen and Seth Curry are set to become the first brothers to ever face one another in an NBA conference finals series, but the more experienced of the two guards appears to be treating his baby bro like just another opponent. Following the Portland Trail Blazers’ thrilling win over the Denver Nuggets in Game 7 on Sunday, Seth Curry said he received a very simple text message from Steph. Seth Curry says Steph texted him after the game today and said, “I’ll see you Tuesday.” — Royce Young (@royceyoung) May 12, 2019 Seth is a bench player for Portland, so it goes without saying that Steph will make a bigger impact on the series.

The Golden State Warriors are 40-7, giving them the best record in the NBA by 3.5 games over the San Antonio Spurs. There were some that expected the Warriors to come close to matching, if not breaking, their own record from 2015-16 after the addition of Kevin Durant in the offseason.

Extra points to the guy who appears to be Draymond Green wearing a backpack. He does Klay Thompson …

… And Brook Lopez

And Green, too:

Kerr after Warriors' Game 2 win: 'We stole that game' The Portland Trail Blazers had the Golden State Warriors on the ropes for a large part of Thursday's Game 2 of the Western Conference finals, but in the end, the Dubs walked out of Oracle Arena with a 2-0 series lead. "We stole that game," head coach Steve Kerr told reporters after the 114-111 Golden State victory. "They outplayed us." Portland drilled a franchise-record 11 treys in the first half and led by 15 at halftime. The Blazers shot over 46 percent from deep for the game. Seth Curry did a masterful job guarding Stephen Curry, logging four steals on his brother.
