Chris Watts’ girlfriend provided authorities with ‘bombshell’ information during investigation of his missing pregnant wife, two daughters When the girlfriend of Chris Watts first saw the media coverage about his missing pregnant wife and their two young daughters, she immediately alerted authorities — and provided them with “bombshell” information. Nichol Kessinger told investigators that the two had met at work and began hanging out frequently in the last week of June 2018, Weld County District Attorney Michael Rourke said in an interview on Investigation Discovery Sunday night.
