SportMegan Rapinoe out with reported hamstring injury in USWNT's match vs. England
Donald Trump says US women's soccer team captain Megan Rapinoe should 'win before she talks' after she shut down a potential visit to the White House
The President failed to spell the US Women's National Team player's name right, though, so tagged the wrong Megan Rapinoe in the tweet at first.
When the United States women's national teamfor the team's Tuesday match against England, a notable name was missing: Megan Rapinoe, who had scored all four of the U.S. team's knockout round goals against Spain and France.
We now have some insight as to why Rapinoe is not on the field for the USWNT's match vs. England in the Women's World Cup semifinal. Fox Sports host Rob Stone said on air during halftime that Rapinoe has a reported hamstring injury.
While the loss certainly stings, especially as it relates to the USWNT's offensive capability, the U.S. managed to take a 2-1 lead at the half.
There's no word if Rapinoe will be able to suit up for the U.S. in its next match — either in the bronze or gold medal match.
Rose Lavelle, Megan Rapinoe expect to be ready for Sunday's World Cup final.
Rose Lavelle left England semifinal in second half with hamstring injury, while hamstring strain kept Megan Rapinoe out of game.
