DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis enjoyed a brief stint playing together with the New Orleans Pelicans from 2017 to 2018.

So Cousins took full advantage of the opportunity to reunite with the six-time All-Star when he agreed to a reported one-year, $3.5-million deal with the Los Angeles Lakers earlier this month.

"Me and AD have talked numerous times about teammates again," Cousins told reporters on Wednesday, including ClutchPoints' Ryan Ward. "We never wanted it to end, but everything kind of happens for a reason. That being said, the opportunity presented itself and I chose to make it happen."
