The NBA's No. 1 overall draft pick on Tuesday announced he has joined Nike's Jordan Brand family.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, who cited unidentified sources, the endorsement agreement extends five years and becomes the richest annual rookie shoe deal in NBA history.

The Pelicans forward joins the likes of Russell Westbrook, Jayson Tatum, Blake Griffin and Chris Paul in signing with the brand.
