Watch: Giants fans already booing team in preseason opener

Watch: Giants fans already booing team in preseason opener Maybe it’s the late-summer humidity in New Jersey. Maybe New York Giants fans are already sick and tired of the team’s first-team offense being led by Eli Manning. Whatever the reason, Giants fans were not having it early in Thursday night’s preseason opener against the New York Jets. It was equally uninspiring from the coaching staff. Fans decided to boo the first-team offense after it exited following those first three plays.

TV cameras captured an amazing exchange between young fans at the Giants - Diamondbacks game in Phoenix on Sunday. The sad kid will someday learn that foul balls are never guaranteed at baseball games , and that life pretty much stinks and there's always a taller kid to snatch the ball away.

Giants' Moronta collapses with apparent arm injury after throwing pitch.
San Francisco Giants reliever Reyes Moronta collapsed in pain with what appeared to be an arm injury after throwing a pitch in the sixth inning on Saturday. Moronta, who had just entered the game, threw a 98-mph fastball to San Diego Padres shortstop Luis Urias for a swinging strike. Almost immediately after releasing the pitch and following through, he fell to the ground and looked to be screaming in pain while clutching his right arm.
