Le’Veon Bell getting MRI on shoulder

Le’Veon Bell getting MRI on shoulder The good news is that Le'Veon Bell doesn’t have mono. The bad news is that the Jets running back isn’t 100 percent. At the same press conference that saw head coach Adam Gase announce that quarterback Sam Darnold is out indefinitely because he has mononucleosis, we also learned that Bell is headed for an MRI. Report: Jets WR Quincy Enunwa Expected To Miss Season Due To Neck Injury . Enunwa recorded 58 receptions for 857 yards and four touchdowns for career highs last season . He was expected to be one of the team's top receiving options after the team cut Brandon Marshall and Eric

The Jets announced Quincy Enunwa will miss the entire 2017 season on Monday. The Jets just went from historically god awful to worse after it was announced Monday that WR Quincy Enunwa was done for the season after suffering a neck injury in training camp.

Jets wide receiver Quincy Enunwa will miss the remainder of the season with a neck injury, Brian Costello of the New York Post tweets. Sadly, given Enunwa’s previous neck injury, this could be a career-ender for the 27-year-old.

This is the second time in three seasons that Enunwa’s season ended prematurely due to a neck injury. In 2017, it cost him the entire campaign.

Enunwa suffered the injury in the first quarter of the Jets’ season-opening loss to the Bills. Somehow, he managed to return to action later on, but was targeted just three times in total.

The Jets inked Enunwa to a four-year, $36M extension back in December. There is no good news here, but the silver lining is that Enunwa will collect on at least $10M, the fully-guaranteed amount of the pact. He also has $6M guaranteed for injury in 2020.

Onochie Quincy Enunwa (born May 31, 1992) is an American football wide receiver for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Jets in the sixth round, 209th overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft. He played college football at Nebraska.

Quincy Enunwa is out for the season after suffering a season -ending neck injury in Saturday's practice. Jets coach Todd Bowles said Enunwa has a bulging disc and that a second opinion will likely indicated surgery along with a 6-9 month recovery process.

The Jets traded for Patriots wide receiver Demaryius Thomas this week, a move that was a bit of a head-scratcher at the time. Now, we know that the deal was about more than Adam Gase reuniting with an old friend – Thomas will attempt to step in for Enunwa, one of the Jets’ most talented offensive players.

Report: Drew Brees has ligament injury to his throwing thumb.
New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees left Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams after suffering a thumb injury in the first half, and he is set to undergo more tests on Monday to determine the extent. What is known is that Brees is dealing with some sort of ligament injury to his right thumb, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media. The question is whether it is something as minor as a sprain or as major as a tear. Brees does not sound all that optimistic, as he told reporters on Sunday that he is concerned the injury could be significant and he has never had more trouble gripping a football during his NFL career.
