Even if the Patriots beat the Giants tonight, it won’t be the first time Tom Brady has ruined things for Daniel Jones.

The first time was when Jones was 6.

The Giants rookie quarterback recalled being disappointed when Brady led the Patriots to a Super Bowl XXXVIII win over his hometown Panthers in February 2004.

“I remember where I watched it. Went to a friend’s house. The Dickens’ house. A family friend,” Jones said, via Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com “Obviously it was heartbreaking when [kicker Adam] Vinatieri made that field goal.”

Marvin Lewis in 'serious consideration' for NFL head coaching openings .
Former Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis is advising Arizona State, but may be in play for a future head coaching gig back in the NFL.Lewis was fired by the Bengals following last season after 16 years at the helm in Cincinnati. He was never able to win a playoff game but he completely changed the Bengals’ culture for the better and turned them into a consistent winner, making the playoffs seven times and winning the AFC North four times. Lewis caught a lot of flak toward the end of his tenure in Cincy when things got stale, but the Bengals’ 0-6 start in 2019 sure makes him look a lot better by comparison.
