After weeks of struggling to consistently put up points, Cincinnati Bengals safety Brandon Wilson got the team off to a roaring start on Sunday with a 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.

Before fans could even find their seats for the Week 7 game, Wilson hauled in the kickoff then split a hole in the Baltimore Ravens’ special teams coverage and left them in the dust for a game-opening touchdown.

While it’s not always typical for a safety to return kicks, Wilson is clearly demonstrating why Cincinnati has so much confidence in him. 

Perhaps this will be the hot start the Bengals needed to compete for their first win of the year.
