All the while, former Nationals star Bryce Harper saw his Philadelphia Phillies miss the playoffs altogether. It’s led to Nationals fans trolling their former franchise cornerstone at nearly every turn.

This did not change Monday night against the St. Louis Cardinals during Game 3 of the NLCS. Look at this young Nats fan with an epic troll job directed at Harper.

If you’re going to drop $150 on a jersey, you might as well make it worth it. Said Nationals fan now has a viral photo to show for it.

To say things were contentious between Harper and Nationals fans during the regular season would be an understatement.

Even on the verge of a potential World Series appearance, fans in the nation’s capital still are not over Harper bolting for the division rival Phillies in free agency.
