Despite the myriad red flags, there are teams that reportedly remain interested in the talented-but-mercurial wide receiver. Perhaps that is why Brown’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, expressed total confidence Tuesday that his client will play again in the NFL this season.

Rosenhaus made his comments on Brown’s future during an appearance Tuesday on CNBC’s “Squawk Alley.”

“I do expect Antonio to play again this season,” Rosenhaus said. “Hopefully we will get the NFL investigation behind him in the near future and he can sign with a new team.”

Drew Jordan Rosenhaus (born October 29, 1966) is an American sports agent who represents professional football players . He owns the Miami-based sports agency Rosenhaus Sports, and has negotiated over billion of NFL contracts.

The Patriots released Brown on Sept. 20 after evidence surfaced that Brown had sent harassing and threatening texts to a reported victim of sexual misconduct. Those allegations followed a lawsuit previously filed against Brown by a different reported victim accusing him of sexual assault.

The NFL Players Association has officially filed grievances on behalf of Brown against the Patriots and Raiders. Brown is seeking to recoup approximately $40 million in unpaid salary, fines and voided guarantees through the grievance.

Rosenhaus has unsurprisingly remained in Brown’s corner as the wide receiver continues his stay in NFL purgatory, and he reiterated Tuesday that interested teams are simply waiting for the league’s current investigation into the sexual misconduct allegations against Brown to run its course.

Drew Rosenhaus told Mike Florio that he wants to help resolve the issue between Brown and the Raiders, but he doesn’t know if Brown will be on the field when the Raiders’ season starts on Monday night. “ I think there’s been a lot of speculation. The reality is that we’re still talking through many

“I’ve said there is interest in him from teams that are looking for the investigation to conclude and I fully expect Antonio to be playing this season,” Rosenhaus said.

Brown, meanwhile, strayed from his patented off-the-wall social media antics in recent weeks by sharing a video online Sunday that shows him being much more reflective and philosophical about his NFL career.

Whether Rosenhaus is indeed correct that Brown will be back in the NFL this season remains to be seen. It goes without saying, however, that it can only help Brown’s cause to have someone with the influence and sway of said superagent working on his behalf.

The NFL still hasn’t interviewed Antonio Brown .
The de facto unpaid suspension of Antonio Brown continues. The league is investigating Brown under the Personal Conduct Policy, based on allegations of sexual assault and rape contained in a civil lawsuit filed on September 10. The league is investigating Brown under the Personal Conduct Policy, based on allegations of sexual assault and rape contained in a civil lawsuit filed on September 10.
