There were some questionable calls in the first half, but the play that really got the fans riled up came early in the third quarter.

Georgia receiver Lawrence Cager was ruled to have caught a ball that clearly touched the ground and shifted before he secured it after the bounce. The play was reviewed, and somehow the catch was upheld.

This “catch” eventually led to Georgia scoring a touchdown on the drive.

Not only is this clearly a fumble but had the refs done their job right the first time, there’s no question who would have been awarded possession. Instead, the Cowboys kept the ball and everyone on Twitter lost their collective minds. The NFL and these refs should be ashamed of themselves!!

House Democrats spoke with reporters on Thursday after walking out on the vote against Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. Mr. Issa cited the votes of the 17 Democrats in favor of contempt, saying a “bipartisan majority” supported the inquiry.

Florida fans, and many college football fans in general, were aghast at this ruling.
