  OBJ defends Mayfield, takes some responsibility for Browns' struggles Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. shielded Baker Mayfield from criticism Thursday amid the quarterback's substandard first half of the season. "You can't sit here and say it's all on him," Beckham said in reference to the critique of Mayfield, according to ESPN's Jake Trotter. "You have to take a look at everything going on around him. Odell Beckham Jr. broke out a yawn celebration after a long catch early in Thursday night’s Browns-Steelers game, and it was done as a shot at Steelers coach Mike Tomlin.

During an interview with ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler that aired over the summer, Tomlin was asked about facing the Browns with their new wide receiver additions of Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry.

He yawned in response to the question about facing OBJ twice a year, suggesting he was not concerned.

Beckham did not forget Tomlin’s comment and had it ready to go.

After a 42-yard catch that set up Cleveland’s first touchdown of the game, Beckham mimicked Tomlin’s yawn.

Odell never forgets.

His season has not gone as he hoped; he only has one touchdown all season, and this may be part of the reason why.

Still, he was happy to make a big play and rub it in to Tomlin on Thursday night.
