Dario Saric has been finding his way in the offense as he scored a season-high 23. That's three straight double-digit games for Saric as he's gone 9-of-16 from distance during that stretch.

However, Oubre was coming off a bad gameTuesday against the Lakers as he didn't hit a shot on five attempts. He was way off on his threes that night in going 0-for-4, but came back 48 hours later and had a huge game.

Oubre was in high spirits the day after the game, saying he had to move forward. He did so and then some in leading Phoenix to the win.

Key moments

Suns led 67-61 at the break as they ended the half on a 11-3 spurt. Devin Booker started with a bucket Dario Saric followed with a 3.

Booker scored the final six points of the run capped by a fading jumper.

Phoenix opened the second half on a 18-11 run to take an 85-72 lead, leading to Hawks coach Lloyd Pierce calling a timeout with 7:39 left in third.

A key part of that run was Frank Kaminsky III and Dario Saric sandwiching De'Andre Hunter jumper with 3s. Then Kelly Oubre Jr. answered Cam Reddish's 3 with a bucket and drew the foul. Hit ensuing free throw to put Suns up 83-72,

That was a stretch Atlanta could've really got back in the game, but Phoenix answered to keep a double-digit lead.

Then the Suns closed the half on a 5-0 spurt as Oubre hit a 3 at the buzzer and blew kisses to the roaring crowd as Phoenix took a 104-90 lead into the fourth.

As big as that shot was, Cam Johnson looking ahead to find him instead of launching say from half court made that play possible.

Oubre still has to hit the shot, but the rookie got it to him.

He could've easily stayed down in the dumps after his one-point night, but he bounced back with a big game.

He has such a sudden nature to his game. Can suddenly explode to the rim.

Cam Johnson continues to show why he's getting more minutes.

Hitting 3s is a given. Went 2-of-4 from distance in scoring 15 points, but he's also taking charges, playing solid defense and showed something off the dribble Thursday night.

Hit stepback 3 off the bounce in first half. Then drove to the basket and drew the foul in second half. He isn't getting any stronger physically, but is gaining confidence.

The Suns drew multiple charges in the game. That's scouting a young team that likes to attack off the dribble.

The Suns did a pretty good job defensively on Trae Young, who had 21 on 7-of-18 shooting after going for 42 in Atlanta's upset win at Denver.

He missed some shots that he normally makes, but Suns played physical with him and made him work on the defensive end.

On the flipside, Aron Baynes finished with only 3 points on 1-of-5 shooting (0-for-3 from 3). Had just three rebounds and committed four fouls.

He's been taking hard falls the last couple of games and that may have led to him not looking himself, but again, keep any eye on his production moving forward. He's struggled against more athletic bigs in the last two games.

That's what the league is mostly made of in that area. He wasn't expected to play as many minutes as he's had to. Interested to see how he bounces back after a few days between games as they play Boston, the team that traded him.

Sure he'll be ready for that one regardless of how his body feels.

Postgame quotes

"It feels good. At the end of the day, I try not to get too high or too low. I could've been super low and not done this today. Just trying to stay leveled is my main thing – being like water." Suns forward Kelly Oubre Jr. after his 30-point performance Thursday following a 1-point effort Tuesday against the Lakers.

"His energy, attacking the basket, he didn't force anything tonight. That's what we need from him. 30 points is probably something we won't get a lot, but I think he can give us production on a night-in, night-out basis. It was just good to see him with that kind of efficient night." – Suns coach Monty Williams as Oubre shot 10-of-18 from the field, went 8-of-10 from the line and added seven rebounds, three assists and two steals.

First to worst: How Warriors coach Steve Kerr keeps positive attitude with Golden State

First to worst: How Warriors coach Steve Kerr keeps positive attitude with Golden State Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr has little experience with losing. He has changed his approach and philosophies to help his young team meld.Kerr does not just consult his playbook, game footage or various mentors. He also recently read two books titled “Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind” and Viktor Frankl’s “Man’s Search for Meaning.” The books have nothing to do with basketball. Yet, Kerr believes it has everything to do with how to handle his current job.

"It's a game of runs. We got going getting behind with our rollers. They came in and started stepping in front of our rollers and apparently, that's an offensive foul, but that changed the complexity of the game in our pick and rolls. It's a game of runs. We were still in it, but we couldn't get a stop to start the third quarter, which was really frustrating. That was on us as a defense. We traded baskets, but they were just rolling." – Hawks coach Lloyd Pierce.

"Credit to Monty, credit to our coaching staff, credit every player in here to buy in, to play together and share the ball. It looks good when we're doing it. I think when we get away from that, that's when we struggle offensively, but today, you just have to regroup and remember what work for us." – Suns guard Devin Booker as Phoenix finished with 32 assists He had seven while Ricky Rubio finished with a game-high eight.

"It was a pretty weird game. I don't want to comment too much, but that one kind of goes down in the history books for the experience out there if you know what I mean. It's just hard when we can't play our game. I think we gave ourselves a shot, we tried to fight back , but we were trying to play catch up the whole time." – Hawks forward Jabari Parker.

"Everybody is stepping up. When Aron and I didn't have a good night, other guys step in, especially the bench came in and got that win for us. It's a lot of guys here who can play and we said since Day 1, one our strengths will be our depth and it's showing." – Suns point guard Ricky Rubio as Frank Kaminsky and Cam Johnson combined for 34 points off the bench.

Camille Grammer Says 'RHOBH' Season 10 Drama Is 'Targeted' At Her

Camille Grammer Says 'RHOBH' Season 10 Drama Is 'Targeted' At Her Camille Grammer Says 'RHOBH' Season 10 Drama Is 'Targeted' At Her“What I’ve seen, there’s drama targeted at me. I show up and they kind of, you know, how do I say it the right way? I feel that I show up somewhere and I felt targeted,” the 51-year-old reality TV personality told Us Weekly and other reporters at Lisa Vanderpump’s 4th annual Vanderpump Dog Foundation Gala in Hollywood on Thursday, November 21. “But there are things that need to be discussed, so maybe that was the right time to do so. There you go, there’s a carrot.

"They were making more shots. They got in a rhythm and we find a way to stop them. We couldn't score. Late in that second quarter, I was trying to create out of the double teams and the shots just weren't going. Some games are just like that." – Hawks guard Trae Young as he shot 7-of-18 from the field in scoring 21 points (1-of-6 from 3).

“We have a great group of people and we are listening to our coach. Monty has been great up to now, I know he will keep doing the same thing. Guys will follow him. That is the first step to a successful season. I think we are doing great right now and it will just continue to the next games.” – Suns forward Dario Saric as he finished with 23 points on 9-of-12 shooting (3-of-5 from 3).

"Confidence, experience is what's really working. That along with having a good group coaches and teammates. That goes a long way. Guys gave me a couple of easy ones to get me going. The game gets a little bit slower every time I step out on the court and I'm processing things a little bit better. First time I stepped out in a game against L.A. (Clippers), I had a couple of preseason games under my belt, but it just seemed like everything was spinning. So now getting the feel of it, getting that experience under my belt and just having good teammates and coaches goes a long way." – Suns rookie forward Cam Johnson as he went 3-of-6 from 3.
