Off to a 4-8 start this season, Portland reportedly signed the 12-time NBA All-Star to a non-guaranteed deal Thursday. Anthony, 35, played in 10 games last season for Houston, averaging 29.4 minutes, 13.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game before getting released.
He spent the 2017-18 season with the Oklahoma City Thunder, and the prior seven years with the New York Knicks.
Beyond Monday’s matchup, Portland is scheduled to head to Houston again on Jan. 15, then host the Rockets Jan. 29 and March 15. Provided Anthony sticks around, we’re looking forward to the inevitable spice.
