Report: Brewers make ace reliever Hader available in trade talks

Report: Brewers make ace reliever Hader available in trade talks The Milwaukee Brewers have made ace reliever Josh Hader available in trade talks, multiple sources told Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic. The New York Mets are one of many teams interested in trading for the left-hander, reports SNY's Andy Martino. Milwaukee's reasoning behind listening to offers on the two-time NL Reliever of the Year stems from the possibility of him receiving a sharp rise in salary, according to Rosenthal. Hader, entering his first year of arbitration eligibility, is projected by MLB Trade Rumors to earn $4.6 million in 2020, although that could end up being the floor for his earnings in the coming year.

Though Jackie Bradley Jr. was tendered a contract on Monday, he's a likely trade candidate for a Boston Red Sox team looking to reduce payroll.

In the day since he was tendered, three primary candidates have reportedly emerged as potential landing spots for the 2018 ALCS MVP.

The Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago Cubs, and New York Mets are all reportedly interested in trading for Bradley, who is one of the best defensive center fielders in the MLB. Each of the interested teams has front office connections with the Red Sox and a need in the outfield.

Reds reportedly sign Mike Moustakas, and that's just wild Signing Moustakas will shake up the Reds' infield, but how, exactly?

Bradley Jr. had a rough year at the plate in 2019, slashing a poor .221/.317/.421, but his 21 home runs are respectable for a center fielder.

The Red Sox will likely look to offload Bradley Jr.'s $11 million projected contract in 2020 in order to get below the luxury tax threshold, so expect these teams, all of whom have room to spend, to take a flyer on the Gold Glove outfielder.
