Kawhi denies knowledge of uncle's reported free-agency demands .
Kawhi Leonard denied awareness of any improper requests made by his uncle, Dennis Robertson, toward the Los Angeles Lakers during free agency this past offseason. "I have no knowledge of it. People make up stories every day," Leonard told reporters Tuesday. The Athletic reported Monday that Robertson asked Lakers owner Jeanie Buss for an ownership stake in the franchise, access to a private plane, a house, and a guaranteed amount of off-court endorsement money in order for Leonard to join the team in free agency. All of those items fall outside the confines of the league's collective bargaining agreement.
