It’s also Christmas Day, and what better gift than a mock draft that goes beyond the first round? 32 picks are never enough around here, so here’s my latest take on how the first two rounds of the 2020 NFL draft could shake out, using the latest updated order.

1. Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Burrow | QB | LSU

The Andy Dalton era needs to end, and the Bengals are in the perfect spot to take his successor. After yet another masterful performance in the SEC title game, Burrow should be locked into this spot, even before he takes home the Heisman Trophy and leads the Bayou Bengals into the College Football Playoff.

Our latest mock draft features two rounds with the projected top 60 prospects. The Elite Eight gifted us with matchups full of NBA prospects, but the Final Four does not have quite the same talent. As Duke, North Carolina and Gonzaga can all attest, having future NBA players does not necessarily

2. Washington Redskins

Chase Young | EDGE | Ohio State

After losing to the Giants in Week 16, Washington has the inside track to landing the No. 2 pick, and therefore the best overall prospect in this class. Young is a rare pass rusher with an incredible combination of size, athleticism and explosiveness, making him a steal even this early.

3. Detroit Lions

Derrick Brown | DL | Auburn

This defense needs a dominant, disruptive force in the trenches to build around, whether that’s on the edge or along the interior. In this scenario, Brown is the best combination of value, need and fit. He’s got rare athleticism for his size, and all the strength and power you’d expect.

4. New York Giants

Andrew Thomas | OT | Georgia

Losing out on Young hurts, but this pick is hardly a consolation prize. The Giants need a franchise left tackle every bit as much as they need an impact edge rusher, and Thomas has all the physical and mental tools to be an immediate and long-term upgrade at a premium position.

Chase Young plans to return to Ohio State, not enter 2020 NFL Draft

Chase Young plans to return to Ohio State, not enter 2020 NFL Draft Ohio State defensive end Chase Young has been touted as a top-five pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, but he intends to return to college. The defensive end was one of four finalists for the 2019 Heisman Trophy — awarded to college football's best player — after a remarkable season with the Buckeyes.

By Jacob Feldman. Posted on May 2 , 2018. Share. Tweet. Share. Share. Email. Comments. Dynasty Christmas is finally here! Or as some people call it, the NFL draft . After so much waiting, hypothesizing, debating, and hoping, we finally know which teams are connected to which players.

Who does your team grab in Rounds 1 and 2 ? It’s official. The Arizona Cardinals will own the top pick in the 2019 NFL Draft , followed by the San Francisco 49ers 1 bends, Niner Noise would like to bring in this special start with yet another two - round mock draft for your reading and disagreeing pleasures.

5. Miami Dolphins

Tua Tagovailoa | QB | Alabama

After a season-ending hip injury, Tagovailoa is obviously the biggest wild-card in this year’s draft. If he makes a full recovery, Tua still has a fantastic skill set and all the tools to be a franchise quarterback. It’s a big if, but if he’s healthy, he’s still worthy of top-five consideration for a QB-needy team like Miami.

6. Jacksonville Jaguars

Jerry Jeudy | WR | Alabama

This is a toss-up for the Jags, who could also use a top corner like Ohio State’s Jeff Okudah here. Instead, they opt for the best receiver in this year’s deep class, giving whoever throws passes for them next season a dynamic, explosive playmaker to jump-start the aerial attack.

7. Los Angeles Chargers

Justin Herbert | QB | Oregon

The Philip Rivers era is limping to a halt, so it’s time for the Bolts to find a successor for the future Hall of Famer. Herbert went back to school to polish his skill set, and while he’s still somewhat inconsistent, he’s got more than enough tools to work with, and he should end up being a top-10 pick.

8. Carolina Panthers

Jeff Okudah | CB | Ohio State

The Panthers continue to climb the draft board after losing seven straight games, but they may just get this year’s best corner for their trouble. With James Bradberry heading into free agency this offseason, getting a polished playmaker like Okudah to replace him would be a fantastic scenario.

9. Arizona Cardinals

CeeDee Lamb | WR | Oklahoma

Another toss-up pick, as the Cards could certainly use a tackle like Iowa’s Tristan Wirfs. However, it might be too tempting for Kliff Kingsbury and company to reunite Kyler Murray with his favorite target from his days in Norman. Lamb is a complete player who will make an immediate impact.

10. New York Jets

Tristan Wirfs | OT | Iowa

Sam Darnold needs more help up front, and both tackle spots especially need attention. If the draft plays out this way, the Jets would land one of this year’s best prospects at the position, getting a powerful blocker in Wirfs who can be an immediate upgrade on either side.

11. Denver Broncos

Isaiah Simmons | LB | Clemson

This defense needs a three-down playmaker at the second level, and this pick would be the perfect fit. Simmons is a rare athlete and a versatile defender who can matchup with the best player on any offense, making him the kind of guy opposing offenses have to scheme for on a weekly basis.

Stafford, wife surprise young brothers who lost their father on Christmas Far too often, much of Christmas is reduced down to crass commercialism. We've all been guilty of it at one time or another. But this fact only makes the most profound, touching moments of the holiday season even more impactful. Just ask these three brothers, who received a truly unexpected gift at their doorstep: Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford and his wife, Kelly, with a Santa-worthy bag of gifts. 12. Cleveland Browns

Jedrick Wills | OT | Alabama

After a hugely disappointing season, the Browns need to start their bounce-back by rebuilding the offensive line in front of Baker Mayfield. Wills would be a fantastic first step in that direction, giving Mayfield an immediate upgrade at either tackle spot.

13. Atlanta Falcons

A.J. Epenesa | EDGE | Iowa

This defense is desperate to improve their completely absent pass rush, both on the edge and inside. This pick has to be used to that end, and the value points to grabbing a versatile rusher like Epenesa, who has the size and skill set to line up anywhere on the defensive line and get after the quarterback.

14. Oakland Raiders

Henry Ruggs III | WR | Alabama

After the Antonio Brown debacle, the Raiders are still in need of a dynamic pass-catcher who can take the top off opposing defenses and also make plays at every level of the field. Ruggs has world-class speed and could easily end up being a steal outside the top 10 after he lights up the combine.

15. Dallas Cowboys

Kristian Fulton | CB | LSU

There are many different directions the Cowboys could go here, but they opt for the most premium position of need. Fulton has a fantastic blend of size, athleticism and length, with the physical playing style to frustrating opposing receivers at the line of scrimmage.

16. Indianapolis Colts

Javon Kinlaw | DL | South Carolina

This defense loves versatility and athleticism, which makes Kinlaw the perfect fit in the trenches. He’s still smoothing out the rough edges in his game, but Kinlaw’s combination of size and athleticism make him a dominant force, no matter where he lines up.

17. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Grant Delpit | S | LSU

Tampa Bay’s biggest need is at right tackle, but the value just isn’t there in this scenario. Defensive line could also be considered, depending on how many expiring contracts the Bucs are able to retain from that unit. This secondary is young and promising, but adding another playmaker like Delpit couldn’t hurt.

18. Oakland Raiders (from CHI)

Kenneth Murray | LB | Oklahoma

After filling their biggest offensive need earlier in the round, the Raiders need to use their second first-rounder to do the same for their defense. Murray’s instincts and athleticism make him one of the nation’s most complete linebacker prospects.

19. Miami Dolphins (from PIT)

Tyler Biadasz | OL | Wisconsin

If the Dolphins want to keep Tua healthy, they need huge upgrades in the trenches. The best value in this scenario is Biadasz, who would give Miami a smart, physical anchor for the interior of their offensive line. His presence would instantly make life easier for their new franchise quarterback.

20. Jacksonville Jaguars (from LAR)

Trevon Diggs | CB | Alabama

After spending their earlier first-rounder for an offensive playmaker, the Jags spend this one on one for the other side of the ball. After trading Jalen Ramsey to the Rams, Jacksonville uses one of the picks they received to replace him with a big, athletic cover man in Diggs.

Wisconsin RB Jonathan Taylor declares for NFL Draft

Wisconsin RB Jonathan Taylor declares for NFL Draft Taylor isn’t considered to be a first-round pick by most analysts as of right now, but he’ll be among the first handful of running backs to be selected and has the potential to rise throughout the process. In his latest mock draft, Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller had Taylor getting taken 54th overall. After becoming a starter at Wisconsin as a freshman, Taylor instantly started etching his name in the record books. During Wisconsin’s bowl game this past week, he became the second college player to have multiple 2,000 yard rushing seasons.

With the NFL draft just hours away, check out our final NFL mock draft featuring the order of picks and two rounds of predictions. Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller reported he has spoken to five teams who have him completely off their draft boards, but has also heard from other teams that cleared him.

Lakers First- Round Mock Draft Pick: Jarrett Culver, SG, Texas Tech. If the Lakers opt against trading this selection, I think Culver winds up being the To be clear, the Lakers don’t have a simple path to acquire a second - round pick, but I opted to make this move based on the team ’s likely push to trade

21. Philadelphia Eagles

Tee Higgins | WR | Clemson

Injuries have decimated this receiving corps, and Carson Wentz needs it bolstered this offseason in the worst way. Higgins has a rare combination of size, length, athleticism and body control, making him one of the most dangerous pass-catchers in this year’s deep class.

22. Tennessee Titans

Yetur Gross-Matos | EDGE | Penn State

Harold Landry is already proving to be a huge bargain as a second-round pick, but he could use a young running mate across from him. Gross-Matos is a well-rounded prospect who can set the edge against the run, or get after the opposing quarterback with regularity.

23. Buffalo Bills

Laviska Shenault, Jr. | WR | Colorado

Josh Allen has some solid role players in his receiving corps, but nobody with the combination of size, athleticism and physicality that Shenault brings to the table. A terror after the catch, Shenault would immediately be Allen’s most complete pass-catcher.

24. Minnesota Vikings

CJ Henderson | CB | Florida

This secondary has been one of the league’s most unpleasant surprises, considering the money and draft resources the Vikings have invested in recent years. Mike Zimmer isn’t afraid to keep targeting talented corners, and he gets another one here.

25. Miami Dolphins (from HOU)

Alex Leatherwood | OT | Alabama

This might be a bit of a reach, but the Dolphins desperately need to come out of this first round with an offensive tackle to replace Laremy Tunsil. Leatherwood has been battle-tested against some of the nation’s best pass rushers, and would be the team’s best option in this scenario.

26. Kansas City Chiefs

Jonathan Taylor | RB | Wisconsin

There are bigger needs on defense, but the Chiefs have the opportunity to take the best running back in a deep class. Taylor is a complete player who would give Patrick Mahomes yet another dynamic weapon, helping balance one of the league’s most explosive offenses.

Former Lions coach Jim Schwartz to interview with the Browns for their head coaching job

Former Lions coach Jim Schwartz to interview with the Browns for their head coaching job Former Detroit Lions head coach Jim Schwartz could be the man who breaks a long and dubious history for the franchise. Schwartz is getting an interview with the Cleveland Browns for their head coaching vacancy. Schwartz coached the Lions from 2009-2013. If he gets hired by Cleveland, or any other team for that matter, he would be the first ex-Lions head man since Buddy Parker in 1956 to land a head coaching job after his Detroit tenure. Your team 's chances aren't based solely on how well you drafted , but it's a lot harder to win, especially in the first couple weeks of the year, when you Two - Round Mock Draft . Aqib Talib made good on a promise before trade to Dolphins to take this LA youth team on a Christmas shopping spree ✊.

27. Seattle Seahawks

K’Lavon Chaisson | EDGE | LSU

It’s still not a sure thing that Jadeveon Clowney will return to Seattle next season, so the Seahawks could be in the market for an explosive, athletic edge rusher to replace him. Chaisson’s combination of physical tools, intelligence and technique should make him a first-round pick.

28. Green Bay Packers

Dylan Moses | LB | Alabama

This defense desperately needs a difference-maker at linebacker who can make plays all over the field. A top-10 prospect before a knee injury stole his entire 2019 season, Moses would be a huge steal here once he’s back to full strength.

29. New England Patriots

Raekwon Davis | DL | Alabama

The Pats do their best drafting when they let the board fall to them, prioritizing value over need. That’s what happens here, as they grab one of the biggest, most versatile defensive linemen in this year’s class. Davis is still barely scratching the surface of his lofty potential.

30. New Orleans Saints

Jalen Hurts | QB | Oklahoma

Who knows if Drew Brees or Teddy Bridgewater will be back in 2020, so the Saints need to start thinking about a new quarterback. Even if Brees returns for a swan song next season, Hurts would be the perfect understudy to the future Hall of Famer.

31. San Francisco 49ers

Paulson Adebo | CB | Stanford

Richard Sherman has proven he’s still one of the NFL’s best corners, but it would be wise to find an understudy in this draft. Why not go back to Sherman’s alma mater for Adebo, an athletic cover man with the smarts and technique to quickly develop into a difference-maker.

32. Baltimore Ravens

D’Andre Swift | RB | Georgia

This rushing attack is already the league’s most terrifying, but Mark Ingram won’t play forever, and Justice Hill is better suited as a change-of-pace back. Swift is big, powerful and explosive, and would be even more dangerous than normal lining up next to Lamar Jackson.
