Samsung’s Galaxy S11 launch date might’ve just leaked
Samsung has been unveiling new Galaxy S series phones every February or March for a few years now. Most of these events took place in late February on the eve of the Mobile World Congress trade show each year, although Samsung made some exceptions. The Galaxy S8 was delayed a few years ago because of the Note 7’s battery recall, and the Galaxy S10 preceded the trade show by a couple of weeks last year so Samsung could be the world’s first major smartphone maker to unveil a foldable handset.

(Bloomberg) -- Samsung Electronics Co. said it will introduce new products at an event in San Francisco next month.
The launch of “new, innovative devices that will shape the next decade of mobile experiences” will take place on Feb. 11 at 11 a.m. local time, the South Korean company said. In a teaser, ita rectangle and a square, a potential introduction of Galaxy S series and a foldable smartphone.
There has been speculation Samsung may rename its flagship model the S20. The official name of the smaller version of the Galaxy Fold has not been announced yet.

Samsung said it will host an Unpacked event at San Francisco 's Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on Feb. 20, 2019, to showcase the new Galaxy model, with a separate event scheduled for London. The gathering will bring together 3,000 journalists and officials from Samsung 's global partners, it said.
