Bill Belichick was sporting a brand new AFC East championship hat. The New England Patriots had things a little tougher this year, but they came out on top yet again.Brady passed for 271 yards and a touchdown, sneaked for a third-down conversion to set up another score and threw a downfield block on another scoring drive to help the defending Super Bowl champions beat Buffalo 24-17 on Saturday and clinch their 11th straight AFC East title.

Belichick went into full Belichick mode when it came to reporters' questions about his future and that of his QB. Belichick spoke with the media on Sunday for his end-of-season press conference, and he was asked several questions about whether or not Brady will be back with the Patriots in 2020.

Bill Belichick has always made it a point of emphasis to focus on what lies ahead of him rather than dwelling on the past, but it comes as no surprise that he is taking a different approach with questions about Tom Brady’s future in New England.

Belichick spoke with the media on Sunday for his end-of-season press conference, and he was asked several questions about whether or not Brady will be back with the Patriots in 2020. He noted that it had only been 12 hours since the team lost to the Tennessee Titans and said no one is thinking about the future yet. Belichick also would not say whether he plans to coach next season.

Tom Brady not worried about ‘nostalgia’ of potential final game with Patriots There is at least a possibility that Tom Brady could be playing the final game of his career with the New England Patriots on Saturday night. Even if he leads the team to a win over the Tennessee Titans, the game may be Brady’s last home contest at Gillette Stadium. Of course, he’s not thinking about any of that.© Paul Rutherford-USA TODAY SportsBrady was asked on Thursday if he has let any “sentimental” thoughts creep in ahead of Saturday’s game.

It' s finally official: Tom Brady will not be forever a Patriot . But in reality, the quarterback' s split with New England can be traced back much further He answered every question , many of which concerned his future as a Patriot . He took last questions even after we were told that he would answer just one

Brady is set to become a free agent in March, while there has been no indication that Belichick is contemplating retirement. For what it’s worth, Belichick praised Brady for all he has done for the Patriots. He also noted that contract negotiations are “not a one-way street.”

The thought of Brady in another uniform still seems far-fetched, but he said after Saturday’s game that it is “unlikely” he will retire. It’s not impossible to imagine a scenario where he wants a multiyear deal and the Patriots don’t want to commit to a quarterback who is going into his age-43 season.

All of the reactions we saw on social media show what the general public thinks of New England’s early postseason exit, but no one should be surprised if the Patriots re-tool and bring Brady back for another season with more help. If they do that, they’d still be one of the favorites in the AFC.
